Julie Anne is a self-taught artist who loves to paint and create. She grew up in a small Gulf Coast town known as an artists’ haven. As a child, she spent time with both of her grandmothers who taught her the art of creating
wonderful meals, sewing, and gardening.

Julie Anne lives in Canton, Georgia with her husband Bart and their three dogs. Most days you can find her at her easel. Working with a bright butsoothing color palette, she focuses on coastal scenes and southern landscapes. Her favorite home away from home is Pawleys Island, South
Carolina where she’s inspired by the coastal marshes and beautiful beaches. These feature prominently in her works.
 

Julie Anne is also the author of a children’s book, Hanukkah Veronica, The Mitzvah Fairy (Lanier Press, 2021). The book was inspired by a doll she created for her daughter Lucy.
